Ronnie Dungan - INDUSTRY
A business journalist with more than 25 years experience, Dungan moved across to MI Pro from Intent Media stable-mates ToyNews and Licensing.biz.
He was managing editor of both, having joined Intent 15 years ago, initially as special projects manager. He has also been editor of leading video games title Computer Trade Weekly and marketing title Direct Response and has written for numerous business and consumer titles as a freelancer.
As managing editor of MI Pro and Audio Pro International he oversaw both titles to a position of dominance online and was also crucial to the success of MI Pro's MIRC conference, curating conference content and driving the marketing of the event which hopes to return for a fifth outing this year.
As spokesman for his magazine brands he also boasts extensive media experience on TV, radio and in the national press, having appeared on BBC television, BBC World Service, numerous national and local radio stations and national newspapers including The Sun, Daily Star, Daily Mail, Independent, Guardian, Telegraph, Times, and Observer.
He has also acted on a consultancy basis for a number of blue chip clients on behalf of leading US research agency Gerson Lehrman and worked with TV production companies to advise on specific programme content.
His new project Fastflash Media draws upon his experience to provide communication solutions for a variety of clients.
