SOFTWARE: Rob Papen RG
Originally unveiled at the Frankfurt Musikmesse earlier this year, RG is an innovative software instrument that allows the user to create not just classic rhythm guitar grooves, but also exciting new grooves and sounds which a real guitar could not produce.Using the built-in sequencer, you can create a range of fresh new edgy guitar grooves and rhythms, from the typical to the unconventional. Incorporating a keyboard layout of major and minor chords, each with two sequence patterns (A or B) options, it’s just a matter of hitting a single note in the major or minor keyboard range and the groove plays.
The sounds are sampled directly from real guitars including a Fender Strat and 8th and 16th note steel-strung acoustics.
