Yamaha and Chappell of Bond St team up for Ginger Baker film launch

To celebrate the launch of the new 'Beware of Mr. Baker' documentary, Yamaha is giving fans a chance to play along with the iconic drummer.

On Thursday 9th May, Ginger Baker will attend a special Q&A screening at 6.30pm to help open the Curzon Soho Cinema Exhibition that runs until 31st May. Attendees of the event will be able to play along with footage of the former Cream drummer on a Yamaha DTX400 silent electronic kit supplied by Chappell of Bond Street.

For those who wish to continue playing, Chappell's Wardour street shop will be open with an array of DTX kits on display.

Following in the tradition of Searching for Sugar Man, the Jay Bulger-directed film features contributions from Carlos Santana, Stewart Copeland, Lars Ulrich and Baker’s Cream band members Eric Clapton and Jack Bruce.
