WATCH: Musicroom launches YouTube campaign to drive Back to School sales

Musicroom, the world’s largest sheet music store, has looked to YouTube to promote its Back to School campaign.

The advertisement, entitled Creating the Stars of Tomorrow, has been created to appeal to aspiring students, parents and music teachers, and features lookalikes of current pop stars disembarking a school bus, with the likes of a young ‘Ed Sheeran’, ‘Adele’ and ‘Daft Punk’ to name but a few.

The purpose of the campaign is to make Back to School something worth looking forward to, and speaks to those who dream of being the next Adele.

The creative has launched on YouTube and is supported by Pre Roll.

The key sales period, which traditionally runs from last week of August through to October is an annual focus for Musicroom. The retailer is hoping this campaign will speak to the heart of what inspires young musicians, re-defining the Back to School occasion and helping them achieve their aspirations, however ambitious they might be.

“Our strategy with this video is to turn Back to School into a celebrated occasion with Musicroom as the launch pad,” said Casey Cohen, head of Marketing.

“Our mission is the same as parents and teachers; it’s to inspire young children who want to become musicians by giving them all the advice and tools they need to succeed. The campaign is a celebration of dreams and possibility.”

Musicroom offers everything for the aspiring musician including instruments, sheet music, tutor books and more, online and across 14 stores nationally.
