The biggest story on MI Pro this week was the news that Harman is laying off 650 employees from its pro solutions division.

The manufacturer of professional audio, video, lighting, and control systems says it is in the process of a major workforce transformation.

David Glaubke, director of public relations, global professional solutions, at Harman International, stressed that the firm has given employees “advance notification of the changes” that will be made over the next year.
