This week, PMT’s 25th anniversary was the biggest story on MI Pro. The retailer is celebrating a quarter of a century in the business by hosting a huge bank holiday weekend promotion.

Simon Gilson and Terry Hope opened their first music shop, PMT Southend, in August 1991.

“Terry and I have no idea where the time has gone. Sometimes it seems like we only started this amazing roller coaster ride a few months ago, yet here we are, celebrating our silver anniversary,” said Simon.

Also popular on MI Pro this week was the latest column by The Subways frontman Billy Lunn, where he reminisces about recording the band’s second album with producer legend Butch Vig.
