Thief caught on camera stealing musical instruments in North Wales

A thief who smashed in the windows of a car to steal musical instruments was captured on CCTV.

The theft took place in the early hours on Thursday morning in Bangor, Gwynedd in North Wales.

According to musician Matthew Bicknell, the robber smashed a car window and stole a Miyazawa flute, a Yamaha clarinet, a clip-on microphone in a Shure black leather case, and a Reed saxophone case.

The flute in particular was a valuable item, worth several hundred pounds.

The North Wales Police confirmed that they were aware of the break-in and appealed to anybody with information to contact them.

They also appealed to people not to leave valuables in their cars.
