The guitar department manager is responsible for managing the sales & staff in that department, ensuring the highest levels of merchandising, and is relied upon for advice regarding purchasing decisions on a daily basis. The department is busy so needs a manager who can think on his/her feet, is very organised and is good with people and numbers.

Casio is currently looking for a field sales executive for EMI (electronic musical instruments). Based in the North of the UK, the job involves being responsible for managing and growing the existing account base of independent retailers within the EMI Division.

As the Field Sales Executive, you will be responsible for maximising sales of Casio musical instruments into independent MI retailers and being a Casio brand ambassador in the Northern Territory, including Scotland.

UK retailer gear4music is currently seeking a new stringed instrument buyer. Working from the firm’s head office in York, the successful candidate will be liaising with its purchasing team and suppliers on a daily basis, and will occasionally be required to travel to international music exhibitions and events.

Studiomaster and Carlsbro, meanwhile, is on the lookout for a new sales manager covering both the pro audio and MI industry. The successful candidate must have a good understanding of the pro audio industry and be familiar with the MI retail sector. A self-motivated, tenacious individual is essential with good communication skills, integrity, good humour and keen to be a team player. A clean driving license is required.
