Former Dolphin Music boss, Jason Tavaria, has finally left the firm after overseeing its transition to S&T ownership.
The company's former co-founder completed his short contract with S&T to oversee the integration of the Dolphin operation into the firm's set-up, following its purchase of the troubled online retailer back in May, after it fell into administration.
In a statement, Tavaria said: "After 12 years running Dolphin Music I will be setting off at the end of this week on my next adventure. The last three years have been not been the same at Dolphin Music since the death of my friend from childhood and long term business partner Rob. I am happy to say that the business is now under the stewardship of one of the most successful retailers in the industry S&T.
"It is with this in mind and with the knowledge and security of the strong management team and great staff that I now feel comfortable enough to leave the business in their capable hands.
"I would like to thank all those great people in this industry that have worked and given their support to me and to Dolphin over the years. I would like to thank all the great staff at S&T who have worked to make the transition a success and I would like to thank all the staff at Dolphin Music for their hard work and support through the years. I am very excited about the future, I don't see this as the end, just the beginning!"
