Manuel Rodriguez Junior has designed a unique specification for Tanglewood that will include both a laminated top Concert Classical and a solid top Concert Classical.
Tanglewood will market these special custom guitars through their export network of over 50 distributor partners worldwide and they have received strong commitment already from Latin markets and major European territories.
Production is on schedule and UK Tanglewood dealers will receive their first deliveries in June.
"In every stage of production right from sourcing the wood to the final polish, the two new Tanglewood by MR guitars will ensure that an acute attention to detail is always upheld. Such features as Torres style bracing, cow bone top nuts, and delicate rosewood binding will be present on both models," said Rodriguez Junior, pictured (centre) with Tanglewood's Shea Rider (left) and Tony Flatt (right).
"The TCMR 1 will feature a spruce top with African bubinga back and sides, while the TCMR 2 will have a solid spruce top and mahogany back and sides."
