The Snark by Qwik Tune clip-on chromatic all instrument tuner has been named Accessory Line Of The Year at the 18th MMR Dealers’ Choice Awards.
Musical Merchandise Review (MMR) puts on the awards every year to recognise the best products currently on offer in the MI industry and the votes are casted by the retailers themselves.
John Hornby Skewes & Co, the Snark’s UK distributor, describes it as “the most accurate clip-on tuner available,” allowing musicians to tune any instrument quickly and efficiently, for a reasonable price, too.
"We're delighted the Snark has won this prestigious award. Here in the UK, Snark sales have been phenomenal, and it's now the UK's number one guitar tuner,” said Alan Smith, executive director of sales and marketing at JHS (pictured, left with Chris Byrne).
“The Snark is a brilliant and accurate little device, so we're not surprised at all that it is winning acclaim and awards."
MMR added: "According to their official site, 'Snark says tuning should be easy and fun!' According to voters in this year’s Dealers’ Choice Awards, that philosophy is resonating with end-users, who’ve been snapping up the relatively inexpensive (£18.99 RRP) clip-on tuners all year."
