Madonna's guitarist Monte Pittman showed off his signature Jarrell guitar for the first time during the Super Bowl Halftime Show last night (February 5th).
The Monte Pittman Signature Jarrell MPS is the result of a collaboration between award winning designer Phillip Jarrell and Grammy Award winner Pittman. Pittman used to require a variety of different guitars during a performance, but Jarrell Guitars worked with Pittman at the Seymour Duncan Shop to transform the guitar into a highly versatile instrument.
The Monte Pittman Signature Jarrell MPS features Seymour Duncan P-Rail neck, STk-S7 Vintage Hot Stack middle and custom design SH-13 Dime Bucker Bridge pickups. Both the neck and bridge pickups offer three-position mini switches – with custom wiring using a Super five-way switch – as well as a kill switch.
