Russian show kicks off

Trade show giants Musikmesse and NAMM make their first foray into the Russian market today.

NAMM Musikmesse opens today and runs until Saturday 19th May with 190 exhibitors from 18 countries marching on Moscow, including: Roland, Gibson, Yamaha, Alhambra, Hal Leonard, Casio, Hofner, Grotrian, Pioneer, Ernie Ball, Music Sales and many others.

The show also includes a full programme of more than 50 events with seminars, demonstrations and guest speakers.

The Russian musical market is potentially the largest in Europe, estimated to be worth some $450m and with a population of 145m to aim at.
