Roland has added two new faces to its drums and guitar product management teams.
Jules Tabberer-Stewart (pictured) joins as drum product manager, having spent the last 18 months editing Drummer magazine. Jules is already a familiar name in the drum industry due to his time running the magazine and his extensive contacts with the drum community means he’s perfectly placed to promote Roland’s flagship V-Drums range. Jules has also worked in retail, having spent several years at Exeter-based Project Music, prior to which he helped people with career guidance.
Commenting on his appointment, Jules said: “I’m really excited to be joining the company, especially right now with Roland’s brand new range of V-Drums kits just arriving. During my time in retail and at Drummer, I always knew that V-Drums were the best electronic kits, so to get the chance to build on that success is hugely exciting.”
Moving over to the role of guitar product manager, Jay Dawe has worked at Roland for five years in a variety of sales roles, first as part of the Roland Planet retail team and more recently as an Area Manager.
Prior to joining Roland, he had a background in IT and data management.
