The owners of Rocky Road Music in Corby, Northamptonshire are looking to sell the store.
Rocky Road has been based in the town for over 20 years, and the current owners – Danny Hern and Ria Bower – have been in charge for six.
Hern, who spends a lot of his time away from the shop as a sound engineer, feels that new ownership is required to enhance the store's online presence.
"The MI business has changed with the current climate and we need to go more online, which isn't really our field," he said. "The store would benefit from someone coming in and progressing it in this way.
"One of its main strengths is the in-store repair workshop and we also offer teaching and a hire service. It's very well known and is the only shop in the town, which has had a vibrant music scene for years."
The store specialises in guitars, amplifiers, accessories and PA.
