Following the introduction of the BC2 and BC Gigster to the global market at NAMM, Porter & Davies is now looking to extend the brand's reach worldwide.
Due to the amount of interest it generated at the show last month, the company has now decided to expand its original business plan.
“The response was unbelievably great…we’re absolutely blown away. Our decision to exhibit at NAMM was one of those ‘what if we do, what if we don’t moments,’ but those four days and post-show meetings proved to be more than worthwhile," said Porter & Davies' managing director, Paul Barretta.
"Everyone – including many of the biggest names in the business – was knocked out by the BC concept. Drummers loved both models, while dealers focused on the streamlined and lower priced Gigster.
"We had three kits on our booth and the line-up of players having a go was non-stop. As a result we’ve come away with a list of names – dealers, distributors and drummers.
"With such a tremendous response we are now looking at the market for Porter & Davies products on a much bigger, more global scale.”
