Piano Warehouse North London relocates

After 30 years on Highgate Road, Kentish Town, Piano Warehouse has moved its North London operation to new showrooms and warehousing in Willesden Green.

“We had really outgrown the premises in Highgate Road some years ago, particularly with regard to warehouse space, said the firm's Howard Martyn. "Our new 5,000 sq ft warehouse is over double the size of Highgate Road and has the capacity to hold over 300 boxed pianos, and also provides us with larger preparation areas.

"With over 4,000 sq ft of showrooms we are also able to display an even more comprehensive range of pianos. We now also have a High Street presence, which was lacking in Highgate Road and with better access and proximity to the North Circular Road and the M1, the logistics are also much improved.

"Great credit must go to Julien Routy and his team at Piano Logistics who undertook the daunting task of moving in excess of 200 pianos over a four-day period with no little skill and efficiency, making the move almost seamless. Once fully settled, we plan to have an official opening in early September to which all our dealers will be invited, and which will also showcase an exciting new line, more of which will be announced at a later date.”

The company also has a South London showroom in Surbiton.
