Protection Racket has welcomed Grammy award winner Peter Erskine to its family of artists.
Erskine is a world-renowned, highly skilled session drummer in a wide and varied number of musical genres and settings, including big band, jazz-rock / fusion groups, theatre, dance, film and television.
He is known for his refined rhythms, individual fills and powerful solos, so much so that readers of Modern Drummer have voted him Jazz Drummer of the Year ten times. He was a member of the jazz-fusion band Weather Report and has worked with artists and bands such as Steely Dan, Kate Bush and Joni Mitchell.
