Peavey Europe has announced that registration for its extended warranty is now available online. The new facility - designed to allow end users to sign up for the company's guarantee via Peavey websites - is being promoted both online and through instore POS material. Peavey says it is also giving a case of Jägermeister to the store that generates the most warranty applications from its customers during the launch period, April and May!
In line with existing guarantee terms, upgrading to a full 5-year warranty - which Peavey say is the most generous on offer for any full range MI or professional audio brand in Europe - applies to both the Peavey and Trace Elliot brands, and is free of charge to customers who register their new products within three months of purchase.
Peavey says that by allowing customers to register direct, the new system strips out any administrative workload from music shops. Nonetheless, the company stresses that it remains committed to its existing dealer network - only new products bought through authorised resellers will qualify.
"Legendary build quality and reliability backed up by the best extended warranty deal in the industry are fantastic selling points for dealers," commented Clive Roberts, head of Peavey Europe. "Offering users this online registration facility means shops can stress those values knowing they won't be involving themselves in additional paperwork."
The new service is available across all Peavey's direct distribution territories in Europe, including - along with the UK and Republic of Ireland - Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Netherlands, Portugal and Spain.
