Over £72,000 worth of saxophones stolen from's Sussex store

Over the weekend, one sopranino saxophone and 29 soprano saxophones were stolen from’s retail store in Crowborough, Sussex.

The thieves broke into the building and made away with over £72,000 worth of instruments.

Many of the saxophones stolen are rare and unusual models by professional-grade instrument brand Yanagisawa, including two solid silver models.

Saxophones made by Yamaha, Rampone & Cazanni, P.Mauriat, Selmer, and Jupiter & Elkhart have also been stolen.

The retailer still has all the cases, mouthpieces and accessories for the stolen instruments, so these saxophones will stand out if offered for sale.
