Ocarina Workshop wins Best Music Education Product award

Ocarina Workshop was recently recognised with the Best Music Education Product award at the 2015 Music Teacher Awards for Excellence for its 4-hole Oc.

Made in Britain and played in primary schools across the globe, the 4-hole Oc represents over 30 years of continuous development at Ocarina Workshop.

The new category for a "physical product that is giving new opportunities and possibilities to the effectiveness of learning" attracted five finalists, ranging from clarinets to the latest in music technology.

Announcing the winner, Paul McManus, chief executive of the MIA, spoke on behalf of the judging panel, stating that the 4-hole Oc "combines creative potential, ease of use, affordability and practicality."
