Novation has announced the most powerful version of its Automap application.
Automap v4.3 brings support to four additional DAWs, meaning all Novation controllers, including Impulse, SL MkII and Nocturn, now work seamlessly with more music software than previously.
Automap comes free with all Novation controllers and gives the user instant access to the DAW's transport, mixer and plug-in instruments and effects, as well as third-party plug-ins, such as those from UAD and Native Instruments. It gives the musician a full visual feedback of whatever they are controlling via a software edit window as well.
The v4.3 update provides support for Logic Express, Studio One, Digital Performer and Reaper, adding to the list of other supported DAWs including Pro Tools, Logic, Cubase, Reason and Ableton Live. It also improves plug-in performance with Ableton Live and re-introduces the Follow Focus feature, which enables the user to focus automatically on the plug-in they are currently using.
Novation is available in the UK through Focusrite.
