New Markbass gear revealed

Markbass unveiled three new amp heads and four pedals at NAMM 2012.

The 500-Watt Big Bang microhead (pictured) has a solid-state preamp and digital power amp that "delivers the warmth of analog" and It also features an aux in, headphone out with level control, footswitch controlled mute and EQ filters.

The TTE 800 is an 800-Watt version of the TTE 500 Randy Jackson signature head, with tube preamp, tube compressor, tube-driven colour (VLE) contour and Tube Technology Emulator power amp.

The MoMark Black 500 and 800 models are sleek black tube preamp heads with a choice of 500-Watt (analog) and 800-Watt (digital) power amps, four-band EQ with two bands of semi-parametric mids, mute switch, VLE and VPF filters and a natural sounding bi-band limiter.

New to the brand's FX offering is the MB7 Booster, which features a seven-band graphic EQ and clean boost of up to +20dB, the MB7 Distorsore – a distortion pedal also with seven-band EQ, the slim-design, clean boost MB Mini Boost pedal with VPF (low boost, high boost and mid cut) and the MB Mini Dist, which is another distortion pedal with two tone controls for a wide variety of sounds.
