NAMM Showstoppers: LD Systems CURV 500

German manufacturer and distributor Adam Hall released a plethora of new product across its LD Systems range of PA, Gravity stands and Cameo lighting at NAMM 2016.

But the big announcement of the show was launch of the award winning CURV 500 System from LD Systems, a fully scalable PA that can be configured for a wide range of applications, from the solo performer to larger sound system applications, such as small halls and venues. There are three configurations that are on offer to the user; Entertainer Set, Power Set and AV Set, which can also be extended and individualised for ones requirements.

Optional wall and ceiling mounting systems are also available, with the ability to power eight satellite speakers in stereo mode (with a maximum of four each side).

Built-in Bluetooth technology enables wireless audio streaming, with instruments, laptops and microphones also connecting through a four-channel mixer, benefiting from a 24-bit processor, delivering 16 customisable digital sound effects. The system can also link together in Line Array fashion, with four speakers combining by means of a clever mechanism known as SmartLink, with the subwoofer connection serving as the control unit for the system.
