NAMM 2013: Vox debuts the Mini5 Rhythm modelling amp

Vox Amplification has announced its all-new, battery-powered, Mini5 modelling amp with built-in effects and rhythms.

The lightweight, compact amp is built for jamming along or practicing and features 11 amp models taken from the Valvetronix series that range from high-gain to clean and can be used with keyboards or other instruments.
The amp also features eight built-in effects inlcuding compressor, chorus, flanger and tremolo with four types of delay/reverb also available.

The Mini5 comes with a variety of rhythm patterns organised into ten genres, plus metronome patterns, for a total of 99 rhythm options. It can run on six AA batteries or the included AC adaptor and also includes an independent mic input jack that can be used with a delay/reverb effect making it a good choice for street performers or as a sound solution for small gigs.
