After four days loaded full of performances, sessions and gear announcements another NAMM has come and gone.

Here is the list of the top ten most read stories from this year's Winter NAMM:

1. Aria announced a signature Cliff Burton bass in honour of the late Metallica bassist.

2. Boss announced three new effects pedals including the TE-2, the company's 100th stompbox model.

3. Fender revealed seven new instruments in its Select Series.

4. Roland debuted the V-Combo VR-09 keyboard, the RD-64 stage piano and the HPi-50 digital piano.

5. Guild Guitars came back to the electric guitar sector with a number of classic models.

6. Randall Amps released three new ranges of amps designed by amp guru Mike Fortin.

7. Apogee Electronics introduced iPad compatability to its updated line of audio interfaces including a newly re-designed 'One' and the updated 'Duet' and 'Quartet' models.

8. Roland introduced three new audio interfaces including the flagship Studio-Capture.

9. Gretsch added five new models to its Roots Collection.

10. Ibanez released its new Iron Label range of guitars available in six, seven and eight-string configurations.
