NAMM 2013: Orange announces new Custom Shop 50 amp

The latest from Orange Amplification's Custom Shop Series is a 50-Watt class A/B, 30-Watt class A head.

The Custom Shop 50 draws on 40 years of amp manufacturing experience and expertise and features hand-wired, point-to-point workmanship with a circuit based on the Retro 50.

With the 30-Watt class A mode engaged, the amp takes on jangly and chimey tonal qualities while switching to 50-Watt class A/B mode unleashes more of a classic British rock sound. The gain, bass, treble and master controls give you control over the HF Drive as seen previously on the OR series adds an extra sonic dimension. There is also an optional foot-dwitchable EQ lift.

Each Custom Shop 50 is handbuilt in the Orange Custom Shop from high grade materials and components.

To see the Custom Shop 50 and the rest of the Orange line, visit them at the Winter NAMM show at Booth 4890 Hall C.
