Novation has released an all-new keyboard controller with launch pads called the Launchkey.
Available in 25, 49 or 61-key versions, the Launchkey features 16 velocity-sensitive multi-colour launch pads for triggering loops or playing drum beats as well as launching clips and scenes from Abelton Live. Other hardware controls include two Launchpad control buttons, eight rotary controls, a 3-digit LED display, transport controls, pitch and modulation wheels, sustain pedal input and transpose buttons. The Launchkey 25 includes a single assignable fader while the Launchkey 49 and 61 feature nine faders, with a backlit mode button and eight mute/solo buttons.
In addition to the hardware controls and integrated instrument functionality, standard MIDI control is also provided, making Launchkey an ideal partner for a DAW, giving you instant control of track volumes, panning, sends and other settings with Novation’s InControl software integration system.
The controllers work with software for both Mac and PC, and can also integrate with Novation's Launchkey and Launchpad apps for iPad.
