A major feature of Shure’s new line up at NAMM is a preview of the new Shure Axient wireless microphone system, a model that can avoid signal dropouts and interference, due to its ability to automatically change frequencies.
Another new product in the lineup is the PSM 1000 in-ear personal monitoring system, a model offering a dual channel, full-rack professional monitoring solution. Users can integrate the PSM 1000 with the Shure Wireless Workbench to create an efficient low profile bodypack receiver.
Other fresh additions include the closed-back SRH550DJ, a lightweight headphone set complete with enhanced bass and a full range frequency response, designed for DJs and audio enthusiasts. Features include an adjustable collapsible headband and 90-degree swivel ear cups.
The new high-end SRH940 headphones are intended for the monitoring and mastering of applications in studio environments. Accurate response across the entire audio spectrum is provided and it delivers smooth high-end extension and tight bass. Superior comfort is ensured from the premium padded headband and velour ear cup pads.
The manufacturer’s NAMM display also sees the SE115 model replaced with the SE215 sound isolating earphones, a model designed to deliver detailed audio with extended bass.
All of the above are expected to be available in Europe in the first half of 2011.
