Musikmesse 2017: Elixir to promote new Optiweb coated strings with test stations and performers

Elixir Strings will have a big presence in the electric hall at this year’s Musikmesse to promote its new Optiweb coated electric guitar strings.

Optiweb Coating is a new, innovative lightweight coating that sounds indistinguishable from uncoated strings, but with the long lasting tone life Elixir is known for.

Check out our recent review of Elixir’s new Optiweb strings here.

The firm will have 12 test stations, each with its own guitar, for visitors to try out the new coatings and also compare them to Elixir’s Nanoweb and Polyweb offerings.
