Musician pleas for return of £2,000 worth of instruments stolen outside Wimbledon home

Musician Pedro Kirk has had a Gretsch guitar and a Yamaha saxophone stolen from outside his house in South Wimbledon.

The two instruments were worth over £2,000 in total. The Gretsch guitar is a rare "Aspen Green" colour and the Yamaha saxophone has been in Kirk’s family for years and is of particular sentimental value.

The guitar was in a black Hiscox hard guitar case, and the saxophone in a "battered-looking" rectangular brown hard case.

This Is Local London reports that inside the saxophone case are some screwdrivers, a yellow pipe cleaner, and "Vandoren" reeds.

Kirk left the gear outside his front door in Abbey Road, South Wimbledon at 5am on Sunday June 4th and returned at 9am to find they had been taken.

Anyone with information can call the police on 101 and quote crime reference number 30264.
