Despite continuing challenging trading conditions, the organiser of the Music Live show, to be held at the NEC in Birmingham on November 6th to 8th has reported advance ticket sales for the show are holding strong. Clarion Events has revealed pre-show sales have increased by more than 1,000 year-on-year as of October 12th.
“We’re obviously very pleased with the advance ticket figures," said Music Live's show manager Jason Hunt. "There’s no avoiding the fact that 2009 has been extremely trying for MI – as it has been for many industry sectors in the UK – but visitors are clearly still keen to make Music Live a priority.
“It’s reassuring to know that, in its tenth anniversary year, Music Live is a brand that the public continues to trust to deliver a great music-making experience.”
Two more special guests have also been confirmed by Clarion, as The Music Force Distribution is set to run meet-and-greet sessions with the former Thin Lizzy guitarist Scott Gorham (pictured) and Cradle Of Filth axeman Paul Allender during the show. The pair are endorsers of Engl guitar amplifiers, distributed in the UK by The Music Force.
