Orange Amplifiers’ Music Aid for Joplin campaign will come to an end on August 24th with a final live online auction.
The manufacturer introduced the initiative back in June as a way of raising funds for the people of Joplin – a community in the US that was severely damaged by a tornado in May – and in particular Glory Days, a local music store that was completely destroyed during the storm (pictured).
The live auction event on August 24th will be handled by Fame Bureau – a leading music equipment and memorabilia auction house.
Highlights from the auction so far include a rare Orange Amps Union Jack half-stack, a set of Sabian cymbals signed by Neil Peart of Rush and an Orange CR50BXT bass amp, signed by Rush’s Geddy Lee.
