MONO launches direct dealer program in US

MONO has announced its plan to distribute its full line of innovative cases and accessories directly to premier music dealers across the US.

This new initiative coincides with the conclusion of a joint distributorship with KMC Music, which has been in place since June 2014.

“We are proud to be launching a direct dealer network, which will allow us to build deep and meaningful relationships with the dealers who are best positioned to help grow the MONO brand in the USA. We would like to thank KMC for their expert handling of our retail business and we are pleased to be ending our partnership on good terms. We are extremely proud of the growth and success we experienced together with KMC during our partnership,” said Meng Ru Kuok, CEO of BandLab Technologies – the firm that acquired MONO in September 2016.

Senior manager of global sales Randy Couvillon added: “2016 was a big year for MONO with strong continued revenue growth. MONO was acquired by BandLab Technologies and subsequently we made significant investments in our team, product development and marketing efforts. This means that we now have the capacity and ability to manage distribution of our award-winning products directly. In 2017 and beyond, MONO is committed to providing dealers with expert support around the MONO line – and to delivering new, innovative products which respond to the needs of modern musicians and creators.”

Approved dealers will have access to MONO’s instrument cases and accessories – including MONO’s new range of pedalboards, which launched at NAMM 2017.
