Mono has ukes in the bag

Mono has ukes in the bag

As highlighted in MI Pro's recent headline-grabbbing story, the Ukulele's inexorable rise continues.
Now, Mono hybrid cases from the USA, best known for pro-class instrument bags, has announced that its range has been joined by the M80 Ukulele hybrid case, designed to accommodate Concert and Soprano size ukuleles (and with a Tenor size coming soon).

The new case is a downsized version of Mono’s designs for acoustic, bass and electric guitars. It features tough ABS panels with rugged, water proof, “shark skin” material offering extreme resistance to scuffs, abrasions and the elements whilst remaining compact and light weight at just 48oz/1400gm, says UK distributor Maddison & Fifth.

The case is equipped with an adjustable, padded shoulder strap featuring a D-Flex clip for easy left to right shoulder configuration which can also be worn across the body or carried suit case style via the steel riveted, reinforced handle. And if that’s not tough enough, the piping and rubber end-soles are made from the same material as used on US Navy Seal rafts!
