Retailers attending next month's MI Retail Conference & Expo will get the opportunity to learn from some of the UK's leading dealers about how to increase their businesses, even in these difficult economic times.
And all dealers who get involved in the session will go into a draw to win an Apple TV.
A panel session, chaired by Roland's Peter Heath, will feature some of MI's top retailers, namely Tony White (Bonners Music), Alex Marten (Red Dog Music), Jonathan Myall (Just Flutes) and Genevra Champion (Music Room). The session will see these dealers reveal the secrets of their success. In particular, they will discuss organising local events, advertising, in-store presentation, links to schools and the community and the Holy Grail of getting consumers not currently playing an instrument to enter the store.
Questions from the audience will be encouraged and retailers are invited to submit them in advance by emailing email@example.com. All dealers who submit a question will be put in a prize draw to win an Apple TV.
Now in its third year, the MI Retail Conference & Expo, in association with Musikmesse, is a trade event backed by MI Pro and organised by Intent Media, and is aimed solely at maximising retail sales.
The event takes place on Thursday June 28th at The Brewery, Chiswell Street, London.
The day is free for retailers to attend and will include a conference session in the morning, once again curated by the MIA's CEO Paul McManus.
Legendary prog rocker and raconteur Rick Wakeman will provide the keynote discussion.
After a free lunch, the expo will open, featuring the market's biggest manufacturers and distributors.
In addition, there will be a series of 'Break-Out Sessions' during the afternoon, giving distributors and manufacturers the opportunity to present technical or service sessions with smaller groups of dealers.
An after-show drinks reception, sponsored by Roland, will provide networking opportunities to round off the day's events. And all dealers will go home with the now-legendary VIP Gift Bag.
The UK's top 250 retailers are set to attend the event, and dealers can register by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Musikmesse is the headline sponsor of the MI Retail Conference & Expo, with Platinum Partners including Barnes & Mullins, JHS, Casio, Ubisoft and Yamaha.
