MIRC 2012: Tanglewood covers all the bases

Acoustic guitar specialist, Tanglewood, says it will have something for all dealers, including new models, as part of its MIRC showcase.

The firm will bringing a huge range of acoustics to the MIRC expo and says the line-up is expansive and varied enough to cater for retailers of all sizes.

"Being branded the number one selling acoustic brand in the UK we hope we have something to offer our stockists at every price point, body shape and wood combination along with our policies to help protect our brand and make it a premium product to stock," said sales director, Shea Rider.

"We only deal with bricks and mortar stores so this is a perfect opportunity to talk to our customers out of their own stores in more focussed and relaxed surroundings."

Now in its third year, the MI Retail Conference & Expo, in association with Musikmesse, is a trade event backed by MI Pro and organised by Intent Media, and is aimed solely at maximising retail sales.

The event takes place on Thursday June 28th at The Brewery, Chiswell Street, London.

The day is free for retailers to attend and will include a conference session in the morning, once again curated by the MIA's CEO Paul McManus.

Legendary prog rocker and raconteur Rick Wakeman will provide the keynote discussion.

After a free lunch, the expo will open, featuring the market's biggest manufacturers and distributors.

In addition, there will be a series of 'Break-Out Sessions' during the afternoon, giving distributors and manufacturers the opportunity to present technical or service sessions with smaller groups of dealers.

An after-show drinks reception, sponsored by Roland, will provide networking opportunities to round off the day's events. And all dealers will go home with a VIP Gift Bag.

The UK's top 250 retailers are set to attend the event, and dealers can register by emailing mirc@intentmedia.co.uk.
