MIRC 2012: Mel Bay to unveil new publications and free retail gift

Mel Bay is promising 'extra discounts, extra credit terms and free gifts' to dealers visiting its booth at this summer's MI Retail Conference & Expo. The firm returns to the event for the third year as a Gold Partner.

Managing director Chris Statham said: "Last year was an excellent follow-up to the first year, and we did double the business we did at the previous event, with the attendees coming out from the conference feeling positive and happy - and that encouraged the expo trade/business in the afternoon.

"As there are no other UK trade events to properly focus on, this is seen as a vital opportunity for Mel Bay to engage with new and existing trade accounts. We want to attend and support these events to meet retailers and secure future business and custom."

Statham revealed that new issues and publications will be unveiled at MIRC, adding: "I will also be discussing the new Business to Business website which has a whole new back office system and eBook offering which will be a new offering for the trade.

He also promised: "Extra discounts, extra credit terms, free gifts and extremely profitable products which will enhance sales for the remaining six months of 2012."

Now in its third year, the MI Retail Conference & Expo will take place at The Brewery, London on Thursday June 28th. Musikmesse is the headline sponsor of the MI Retail Conference & Expo, with Platinum Partners including Barnes & Mullins, JHS and Yamaha. Once again, the day will comprise a series of conference sessions in the morning, an expo after a free lunch, focused 'Break Out Sessions' and the After Show Drinks Reception.
