MIA AWARDS 2011: The product winners

Line 6, Sound Technology, JHS and Yamaha were among the winners in this year's product awards.

Yamaha picked up two awards in the classical category for its C40 Classical Guitar which won the best stringed award, while the Clavinova CLP-470 Digital Piano won best keyboard. Sound Technology also picked up a brace for its wins in both the software and hardware categories with Nord Stage 2 winning best hardware and Propellerhead Reason 5 winning best software.

In the guitar sector Line 6 beat off some big name guitar brands to win best electric for its James Tyler Variax JTV-69, while JHS' Vintage branded Gordon Giltrap Signature won best acoustic.
