MI Pro Sticks it to MS

MI Pro is taking part in July's big MS Society fundraiser and world record drumming attempt, Stick It To MS.

Intent Media's own drummers in residence, Rob Baker and Alex Boucher, will be taking part in the fundraiser in Manchester on July 15th, which will see more than 800 drummers attempt to break the world record for drumming on full kits playing a set beat, in time with each other, for five minutes. At SITMS 2009 which Baker also took part in, a Guinness World Record was set by 582 drummers at the National Indoor Arena, Birmingham.

That event raised £66,315 for The Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society and won MS Fundraiser of the Year in 2010. It also received a huge amount of mainstream television and newspaper coverage. SITMS 2012 will attempt to break its own current world record with a target of over 800 drummers.

The event, at EventCity in Manchester and sponsored by Natal Drums (Marshall Amplification), will feature a whole host of celebrities together with drummers from Natal’s artist roster.

You can sponsor Rob and Alex at their Just Giving page here.
