MI EXPO: Strike a chord! How to wow your customers on the high street and online

High street consultant and retail expert, Graham Soult, will deliver a talk on how retailers can better understand and communicate with their customers as part of the MI Expo’s Professional Development Programme, sponsored by NAMM.

As a business mentor and retail consultant, Soult is a regular commentator on retail issues via his blog, Soult’s Retail View, where he chronicles new developments in the industry and celebrates examples of great retailing on the high street and online. He is also a high-profile ‘Twitterer’, with over 8,000 followers at @soult, and was recently named the UK’s 39th most influential retail person on Twitter.

His consultancy business, CannyInsights.com, works with retailers and other organisations, on the high street and online, to help them understand the market, improve their stores and marketing, and promote town centre regeneration.

Meanwhile, sister business CannySites.com owns and manages a portfolio of online directories – covering the home, garden, property, holidays and fashion – and works with businesses large and small to help them promote what they offer.

Soult also appears regularly in the media in the North East and beyond, writing occasional columns for leading retail magazines, and being quoted in publications such as The Guardian, The Grocer and BBC News.

His MI Expo session, ‘Strike a chord! How to wow your customers on the high street and online’, will be focused on helping MI retailers get more customers into their shops or on to their websites and make their businesses stand out from the competition. Drawing from his work with online retailers and visits to over 500 high streets, retail consultant Soult will share some quick tips to take away.

The MI Expo, in association with Musikmesse, which takes place on July 13th at the Emirates Stadium, London, is a dedicated MI trade exhibition for the UK market; complete with a professional development seminar programme, sponsored by NAMM, for retailers.
