MI veteran, Neil McDougall, has joined AVSL in the newly created position of Group Brands Manager.
He had previous stints at Yamaha, Roland and also worked in music retail. “My main focus initially will be to develop our relatively new brand Chord to become the first port of call for all general music stores. I appreciate that sounds like a bold statement, but I know that with such a professional distribution infrastructure already in place, it is simply a matter of reminding MI retailers that we are here, we understand your needs and we can help you do good, profitable business” he said.
Managing director, Phil Williams commented: “Appointing Neil shows how serious we are about our MI customers, we know that we can do much more with the Chord brand and Neil, with his background, is ideally placed to mould the brand into what our customers want.”
The Chord range includes guitars, percussion, keyboards and other instruments, including a range of accessories, stands and cases.
