London Bass Show draws the crowds

Last weekend's London Bass Guitar Show was a huge success - that's the industry and consumer consensus backed by attendance figures just released from the organiser, Oyster House Media.

The show, staged at London's Olympia, drew just under 2,000 visitors, Oyster says, and soundings taken by MI Pro suggest both visitor and exhibitor satisfaction were high.

Oyster House MD, Hugo Montgomery-Swan said: “I don’t mind admitting it required a leap of faith, not only for us as show organisers but also for all those companies who chose to support the show by exhibiting. But there is no doubt that the entire bass community has been rewarded for its efforts and commitment to this unique show. The spirit and sense of community was tangible throughout, with everyone, including the performing artists, revelling in the genuinely positive atmosphere of this dedicated music show. Even before the show closed on Sunday afternoon, we had pledges of support for 2012 which makes us even more convinced that specialist dedicated music shows are the way forward for Oyster House and the markets our music magazines represent.”

OHM current line-up of music shows includes, The London Drum Show, The London Bass Guitar Show and The London Acoustic Guitar Show.
