Matt Joule has been installed as the new MD of Aria in the UK.
The firm has been seeking a replacement for Martin Hartwell, who left to join Rosetti in January, and has been run in the interim period by finance director Kate Anderson (pictured here with Joule (right) and director of international sales Toshi Matsumura).
Joule joins the firm from Barnes and Mullins where he spent ten years, most recently as area sales manager for the southern region.
The firm has suffered the lost of a number of key brands since Hartwell's departure, including the Fusion accessories brand and Seymour Duncan pickups (although it retains distribution in Scotland and Ireland) and will be looking to build up its range again with new additions.

"We've still got some decent lines and enough in the Aria brand itself to build with," said Joule. "But we are on the lookout for brands, so if anyone needs representation in the UK we would be happy to speak with them.
