JHS strikes Polish distribution deal

John Hornby Skewes & Co has signed an exclusive deal with Polish distributor Audiostacja for its Fret-King, Vintage, Encore and Santos Martinez guitar brands.

Formed in 2004, when two experienced Polish suppliers merged, Audiostacja has become a major force in the country's MI sector, distributing more than 30 brands out of its Warsaw headquarters.

The company will take on the entire JHS guitar range, including the new Fret-King Black Label electric guitar and bass range, as well as the Blue Label and British-made Green Label and STVDIO lines. It will also take on the Vintage and Encore electric and acoustic guitar and bass lines and the Santos Martinez classical and electro-classical range.

Joint Audiostacja owners Piotr Dolewka and Piotr Dygasiewicz said in a statement: "We are very proud and excited to start working with JHS and their legendary guitar brands. We are sure this is the beginning of a fruitful and long-lasting relationship and we are very much looking forward to it".

Adam Butterworth, JHS' export sales manager, added: “Audiostacja are a very professional distribution company in Poland, with an extremely focused team. We are delighted to be appointing them as our distributor in Poland as they will help grow the presence of our brands, which are now available in more than 70 countries around the world.”
