JHS launches new Softamat

John Hornby Skewes & Co has introduced a new range of accessories for musicians – the new Softamats.

Made by Softapads, an established manufacturer of drum and cymbal practice pads, these mats keep bass drum pedals, hi-hats, keyboards, guitar effects units and other instrument pedals firmly in place on any surface with their revolutionary non-slip, ‘anti-creep’ surfaces.

The hard-wearing material is designed to be long-lasting and has been tested by musicians for durability, reliability and strength of grip. Wooden and laminated floors, vinyl, tiles and carpet are all suitable surfaces for the Softamat and they measure up at 18” x 8”.

“I like the idea that it’s a small mat, rather than a large rug, that I can just pick up at the end of the night and throw into my traps case,” said Status Quo drummer Matt Letley.

A pack of two, with a 12-month guarantee cost £14.99 RRP.
