Jeff Waters, Anika Nilles and more announced for Musikmesse's Drum and Guitar Camps

Musikmesse has announced more musicians for its Drum Camp and Guitar Camp at next year’s show.

The new well-known musicians taking part include Jeff Waters (Annihilator), Bruce Gaitsch (Peter Cetera), Michael Schack (Netsky, Kate Ryan, Milk Inc.) and Anika Nilles, Germany’s shooting star on the drum scene.

All artists will give performances in one of the big sound-proof cabins daily from 5th to 8th April 2017 and, afterwards, be available for discussions and autographs.

The first Drum Camp at this year’s Musikmesse was one of the highlights of the programme of events. For 2017, the successful concept has been expanded and extended into the guitar segment.

The heart of both camps is the ‘Blood, Sweat and Tears Box’, which has a capacity of around 100 visitors and, fitted with ultra-modern technology, lets no sound escape into the surrounding hall. There, the artists can get the most out of their instruments during their 15 minute gigs – and the audience can enjoy the performance closer than ever before. All musicians will be using their own touring equipment and the sets will be on show in a special exhibition at the Drum Camp before and after their appearances.

The Drum Camp and the Guitar Camp are part of the new Brandworld concepts of Musikmesse, which combines product presentations, brand training and entertainment in an attractive special area. In addition to the Camps, the Musikmesse Drums Brandworld und Musikmesse Guitar Brandworld include a Brand Area (exhibition space for manufacturers of branded products), College (workshops and masterclasses by masters of their Instrument) and Academy (instrument demonstrations with the focus on retailers and distributors).
