The Trev Wilkinson-designed Italia brand has added two new guitars and a bass to its range.
The versatile Italia Fiorano (£549) features a pair of Wilkinson W90 pickups and a hollow mahogany body with spruce top, which gives the guitar a rich tone and plenty of sustain. The set neck is maple, with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard and comes with a choice of Cream or Tobacco Sunburst (pictured) finishes.
The Modulo Tipo 3 (£449) includes a doublecut agathis body and tolex back with pearloid guitar-shaped back plate, as well as a soapbar P90-style bridge pickup housed in a triangular scratchplate. It features 22 frets, a Wilkinson vibrato bridge and a Sparkle Red or Sparkle Black finish.
For bassists, the Italia Imola 4 (£569) is "part '60s, part 21st Century." It's equipped with a korina body and two Wilkinson WBJ pickups. Available in Black and Tobacco Sunburst, the Imola also provides a hardrock maple bolt-on neck, a Wilkinson WBBC bridge, two Volume controls and a Master Tone control.
John Hornby Skewes & Co is the UK distributor for Italia.
