The Indie Guitar Company has moved from its offices and warehouse in Berkshire and formed a new worldwide organisation.

The global offices will now be split between a new UK base, the existing North American operation and the South Korean factory. A new European showroom will be established and located in the UK during September 2009.

Since its appointment of The Music Force as its UK distributor, Indie’s Keith Willis (pictured right with Mark Owen of Indie, North America) has been able to concentrate his company’s efforts much more on the international market, a target for the company since its successful debut at the NAMM show this year. Willis also reports that European sales have also benefited from the appointment of a new distributor in Germany.

Willis will continue to concentrate his focus on looking after international distributors, but will also oversee the development of the market in the UK, what he refers to as ‘the ancestral home of Indie’.

“The company will now focus on what we have always done best. It will continue to support independent retailers worldwide and will continue to manufacture guitars for serious players at affordable prices. The economy has been harsh on many good businesses in the past year and this restructuring means that Indie will remain competitive and continue to fly the British flag worldwide.”

Willis concluded by saying that more information will be released over the next month.

All enquiries for UK sales and support should now directed solely through The Music Force. 01780 781630
