Höfner, the German manufacturer of musical instruments, has just announced the addition of British rock heroes Steve Cradock and Andy Flynn to its family of sponsored artists.
Steve Cradock gained notoriety first for his work as the guitarist in Ocean Colour Scene before playing for Paul Weller. He has released two solo albums to critical acclaim and has a third album, Travel Wild / Travel Free, due for release this year. Steve will be using a Höfner Verythin ANB Limited Edition guitar, and after being inspired by Kevin Parker of Tame Impala and the B-side of Paperback Writer, Rain, will also be using a v62 Violin Bass and a Höfner 500/2 Club bass on future recordings.
Andy Flynn, from Birmingham, England, provides the bass sound for the Steve Cradock band and has recently taken delivery of a Höfner v58 Violin Bass, which he will be using for live and recording.
